Using Ollama Mobile

These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a legal agreement between you and Mission Credible Inc., a company incorporated in Georgia, USA ("Mission Credible", "we", "us", or "our"). By downloading, installing, or using the Ollama Mobile app ("App"), you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

Who can use the App

You must be at least 18 years old to use Ollama Mobile. By using the App, you represent and warrant that you are 18 or older. The App is not intended for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly permit minors to use it.

Free, always

Ollama Mobile is completely free to download and use. There are no in-app purchases, no subscriptions, no premium tiers, and no advertising of any kind, now or ever. We believe AI should be accessible to everyone, and we will never monetise this App through paywalls or ads.

What the App is

Ollama Mobile is a native mobile client that connects to Ollama-compatible endpoints, local network instances, self-hosted servers, or Ollama Cloud. It sends your prompts to the endpoint you configure and displays the response. Mission Credible does not operate any AI models, inference infrastructure, or cloud endpoints. All AI output is generated by the endpoint you choose, not by us.

License

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use the App on devices you own or control, solely for your personal, non-commercial use in accordance with these Terms. You may not:

Copy, modify, or create derivative works of the App
Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
Rent, lease, sublicense, sell, or redistribute the App
Remove or alter any proprietary notices in the App

Acceptable use

You agree to use the App only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You must not use the App to:

Generate, transmit, or store content that is illegal, defamatory, obscene, or that infringes any third party's intellectual property rights
Harass, threaten, or harm any individual or group
Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any system or network
Circumvent, disable, or interfere with security features of the App or any connected endpoint
Use the App in any manner that could damage, disable, or impair our services or those of any third party
Violate the terms of service of any endpoint you connect to, including Ollama Cloud

Your responsibilities

Because the App connects to endpoints and models you select, you are solely responsible for:

The prompts and content you submit through the App
Evaluating and verifying the accuracy of any model output before relying on it
Compliance with the terms and policies of any endpoint or model provider you connect to
The security of your device, API keys, and credentials
Any consequences arising from actions you take based on AI-generated output

Intellectual property

The App, including its design, code, graphics, and content, is owned by Mission Credible Inc. and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. These Terms do not transfer any ownership interest to you.

You retain ownership of any prompts you create. We make no claim over your prompts or any output generated by the endpoints you connect to. Because we do not transmit your data to our servers, we have no practical access to your content.

App Store relationship

The App is distributed through the Apple App Store and Google Play. Your download and installation of the App is also subject to the terms of the applicable store. Apple Inc. and Google LLC are not parties to these Terms, are not responsible for the App, and have no obligation to provide support for it. In the event of any conflict between these Terms and the applicable store's terms, the store's terms govern only to the extent required by that store.

No warranty

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE APP WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR FREE OF HARMFUL COMPONENTS. WE ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR THE BEHAVIOR, AVAILABILITY, ACCURACY, OR OUTPUT OF ANY THIRD-PARTY ENDPOINT OR AI MODEL THE APP CONNECTS TO.

Limitation of liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, MISSION CREDIBLE INC. AND ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE APP.

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING FROM OR RELATING TO THESE TERMS OR THE APP SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR USD $10, WHICHEVER IS GREATER.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time, with or without cause, and with or without notice. You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it. Upon termination, the license granted under these Terms ends immediately. Sections covering intellectual property, disclaimer of warranties, limitation of liability, and governing law survive termination.

Governing law and dispute resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, USA, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any dispute arising from or relating to these Terms or the App shall first be attempted to be resolved informally by contacting us. If informal resolution fails, disputes shall be resolved by binding individual arbitration administered under the rules of the American Arbitration Association in Georgia, USA. You waive any right to participate in a class action lawsuit or class-wide arbitration.

Notwithstanding the above, either party may seek injunctive or other equitable relief in any court of competent jurisdiction to protect intellectual property rights.

Export compliance

The App may be subject to US export control laws. You represent that you are not located in a country subject to a US government embargo and that you are not on any US government list of prohibited or restricted parties.

Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision will be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary so that the remaining Terms remain in full force and effect.

Entire agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Mission Credible Inc. regarding the App and supersede all prior agreements and understandings.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will post the updated version here with a new effective date and note the change in the App's release notes. Continued use of the App after the effective date constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
